Need help with Mori Seiki lathe post with live tooling on the turret?

Can anyone please help me with a post for our Mori Seiki SL250 and SL253 lathes with live tooling on the turret? The only post i have tried was for a  Mori mill turn that posted the code with Y axis coordinates and moves and I only have X axis and Z axis capabilities. IDK if there is a switch i can turn on or off for the Y axis or if I need a different post.  I am new to fusion kinda, can someone please help me??  Thank you in advance

All posts are open source, you can open post in text editor of your choice and search for string "gotYaxis"under "function"  as shown in screenshot below.

If you don't have Y axis, just change "true" to "false", save file and you should be good to go.

VicKosta,

That edit on the post did not work. we found the true/false switch but when we post the code alarms out on line 1 with a " illegal character" alarm  but brackets doesn't show me the code so i can't see what the problem is. Do you have any experience with this? Thank you very much!!

I used Notepad++ to modify my posts, at first I modified Doosan post to run with Yama Seiki lathe having only C axis.

If you set that post for Lynx in user configuration window, it will not post any Y axis moves.

The reason why I modified it is to have all M codes adjusted to Yama.

In recent days I modified Nakamura post because it has updated section to support canned cycles and it doesn't use P codes for spindle selection like Doosan post does.

So far I was able to manage my needs with post editing but it is not so simple to instruct someone else without having more information on hand.

Can you upload specific post you are trying to modify ?, that would give me or anyone else chance to test it after editing.

You also need to program work in such manor that does not require Y axis moves, or post will fail.
