Need help with 5 axis on radius

Hello everyone,

I want to mill a radius with a Ball Endmill and want the Mill to follow the curve.

Ive tried it with the parallel operation but cant seem to get it working with 5 axis, the Mill is just facing the z axis.

Id greatly appreciate of someone could help me find the right settings.

Hi

For parallel you will need to use the "To curve" option and make a sketch line along the center of the radius.

There are other toolpaths like Flow,Blend, Steep and shallow, Geodesic that have a "Lead and Lean" option that will make the tool normal to the surface.

see attached example
