Hi to all,
i'm new in this forum and new in using Fusion 360 (I come from the world of editorial graphics and I'm not used to 3d modeling software) i would like to replicate the surface decoration that you can see in this video at the min. 13:18, using my X-Carve CNC (that i want to learn to use more than simple 2d carving)
이게 가구야? 작품이야? 외국에서만 보던 원목가구가 한국에도! 아머드 거실장/TV장 armored tv cabinet 아트퍼니처 - YouTube 3
so i tried to create a kind of "path" that i want my spherical bit will follow, my problem (aside the fact that right now i was just trying to create a path so didn't care about right proportions between the distance of the rows, the depth of cut and the diameter of the spherical bit, that i still don't have but i'm looking for), is the i was able to sketch the path but i'm not sure that a simple sketch is something that a CNC software can interpretate, and i'm not able to transform it in a object, or something more solid that can be use a s a path. Not sure if a was able to explain myself clearly. I attached a screenshot of the file i was working.
Thanks in advance for replies
