Multiple depth passes with Four axis

Hi,

I am a very recent convert to Machining Extensions and have some basic questions.

I have got some good fourth axis rotary toolpaths but the tool path goes to full depth, the finished size, in one pass.

What I would like to do is use two or three passes at increasing radial depth and cut 'layers' off the rotating stock. Is this possible?

Craig

Go to preferences and turn on the rotary pocket preview:

Then use the Rotary pocket toolpath to rough the part:

You can then finish with the Rotary toolpath.

If you want to upload your file here we may be able to offer some more suggestions
