Move hole to absolute position

I've created a hole and now I want to move it to an absolution position. The Move command appears only to take parameters for how much you want to move x,y,z. I simply want to position my hole to an absolute position.

How is this done?

Use the "Reference" facility, you put the hole anywhere and use edges/points and input the distance from the selected edge/point and the hole will move to that position, you can do this at the point of creating the hole or later you can move it in edit mode, see image below.

How do I get to "Edit" mode? I created the hole and when I select it I don't see any menu or context from where I can choose the options show in the image.

Couple of ways to get to the Edit mode, one is place your cursor on the hole face and left click to highlight it, now right click and from the list that appears select "Edit Feature" and you will be returned to the "hole creation" area where you can move the hole around and/or change it`s properties.

Second way is to go to your History/Timeline at the bottom of your screen, select your hole by left clicking and then right click and again from the list select "Edit Feature" and as above you will be returned to the hole creation area.

Screencast has audio 🙂

I have moved my holes using the method you described, but when I go back to a hole to refine the position the Edit Feature form only displays when I select the point in the timeline where the hole was created, showing the hole at its original location.

How to I move the hole based on it's current location and relative to the edge of the body it is on?

Have you moved the hole using the Move/Copy method as in the Screencast, if so you have to go to the operation that created moved the hole.

The point in the timeline of the original creation will not change unless you use that point to make your change.
