Mill Error Code 0161; Unmatched G Code

I have a 1993 Matsuura MC-510VF mill which uses Yasnac i80 controller. I've been sucessfully using Fusion for years to create my G-code and run parts, but today, when I created a program and tried to run it, the machine pulls in the first tool and runs that operation, makes a tool change for the next operation, but then I get alarm code 0161; Unmatched G Code. I've tried to figure out the G code, but nothing has worked.

I'm using the Start Up license for Fusion. I'm wondering if the Start Up license has recently changed, and now doesn't let you run more than one operation? Do I need to buy the license Or possibly Fusion is creating a corrupt G-Code file? As I mentioned above, I've sucessfully used Fusion to create the G-codes for my mill, which have worked very well in the past, so this is something new going on.

Below is the G-Code that isn't working. I'm not a G-code wizzard, if anyone could possibly help me figure this out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Eric

You have posted to the wrong Fusion 360 Forum for you question.  You will get a lot better results over in the Fusion 360 Manufacturing Forum@seth.madore, could you move it over for him?

@norcalvintag does your machine have a tool magazine or an older style "umbrella" magazine. It's possible that it's alarming out on the "tool pre-call"?

By chance, do you save your old g-code programs after you've run them on the machine? I'd be curious to see what may have changed.

Do you know exactly which line it stops on?

Which post processor are you using?

Hi,

Yes, I save my old work codes. The code below was posted this morning with Fusion, and is not working. I've highlighted the same code in Green, and the different code in Yellow. As you'll see, the code changes the code order some and adds the new code G17 G90 G94 which may be part of the problem?

Not working code:

Below is the same part with a previously saved code that does work fine.

I appreciate your help, thank you.

And you're using the Yasnac post, correct?
Is this a post that you had saved to your computer, or have you been using the generic one from the library?

When using the generic post from the library, it's always my strong preference to move it to my local or Cloud folder. Also, you'll likely want to turn off this Preference flag:

If you remove the G17, 90, 94 section, does the code run as expected?
It looks like there was an update to the Yasnac post (about 5 weeks ago) that likely introduced these changes

Hi Seth,

Thanks for your information and suggestions. The G-code post is working for me at the moment. I tried removing the

G-code line text that you mentioned, didn't seem to change anything, but then I posted G-code on another part and now it seems to be working. So I'm not sure if I fixed something, or if Fusion changed something, but for the moment, things appear to be working. I'll keep you posted as I work with it more.

Again, thanks for your input and help.

Eric
