Hey fellow Fusion 360 CAM users,
I am M.P., Computer Graphics student from Copenhagen. For my Thesis I am programming add-on for Fusion 360, intended to assist the user of CAM environment with planning stage of prototyping, while using 4 axis CnC machines. The tool I am making is supposed to analyze the geometry of part to be machined and suggest optimal machining angles depending on users preferences, such as priorities over speed, excess material remaining, etc.
In order to test the performance and limitations of the Tool it needs to be compared to human input. That’s where I would kindly ask for some of your time to fill the questionnaire. Well, its more like a puzzle than questionnaire, as it only contains 4 brief questions regarding your Fusion and CAM experience, while the rest focuses on you pointing out angles you would choose to machine a certain Part, in order to remove as much stock material as possible in shortest time. Anyone with any experience with 4 axis CnC milling participating would be a great help!
