Hi again,

 

Wanting to drill a simple countersunk hole in the end of a shaft.

Code i get from the Fanuc post processor is,

(DRILL3)
N2680 M1
N2690 T0303

N2110 G98
N2710 M8
N2720 G98
N2730 G97 S1500 M3
N2740 G0 X.00 Z60.
N2750 G0 Z50.
N2760 G81 X.00 Z-3.5 R9. F333.333
N2770 G80
N2780 Z60.
N2790 M9
N2800 G28 U0.

 

Lathe doesnt like line N2760.  

Any ideas?

Problem solved!  G81 removed and all is well.

Hi @kretallick144,

 

If you have to modify your NC file every time you can modify your post processor yourself.

 

You need some JavaScript knowledge.

Hi Marco,

Yes i have a bit of modifying to do.  Im learning as i go.

I have zero javascript knowledge and unfortunately not in the position to pay a professional at the moment.

I have started with the most involved part, so once i master it, other parts will be easy.
