Laser Spot Size Print Setting Library

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to change the spot size in the print setting library for additive manufacturing to make a proper scanning strategy. Does anyone know how to change it?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, yes it is for Renishaw AM400. We have a 65 um spot size, but in the Fusion settings, it's 150 um, and restricted to change. Do you know how to manage this?

I guess what you need to change is the beam compensation value. This will actually affect the toolpaths to compensate for over-melting on the contours. Which is related to spot size, laser power and material.
Look into the build stragegy settings at Hatching/Volume/Border..

Thank you, Robert, I'll take a look at that.
