Laser Etching

I am designing a part that I need a logo laser etched on. The logo is basically text. I have tried to explode the text but that only creates lines. I need the inside etched, not just the outline. I am struggling hard here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Could you share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

Is this a Workflow question? Will you use say Lightburn to run the Laser etch process or will you CAM in Fusion 360?

Has anyone found a work around for this within Inventor Cam?

I also need to fill an area with etching. The only option within the 2D Profile under "cutting" is literally what you click, a profile. So you can easily etch the profile of whatever you have drawn, but if you wanted to do a "hatch fill" or anything else that is out of the question.

Is there anyway to do a 2D pocket and then be able to specify your stepover?
