hi folks. any way to keep the tool on the surface ?  tool 89 contour parralell, third operatrion.

Do you mind changing the strategy. Morphed spiral does a nice job.

Not at all...im always open for better strategy. i tried it. worked great. thank you. is there any reason this is not possible using paralell?

You can force it to stay down. But forcing it on the wrong pattern will probably damage the part. Parallel is just not the right path, because of the shape of the area you're cutting. The reason it retracted was to avoid damage to the surface.

I guess if they optimised it for jobs like this it could be better but probably not worth the time as it would only help in this situation.
