Hello to the Fusion Manufacture Community!

In anticipation of the January update going out in roughly a week, we’re again sharing out an early drop on the details of what community reported bugs have been addressed this time around! If you want to get an early jump on these fixes, you're more than welcome to apply for the Insider Program and get early access!

We greatly appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to notify us of the issues that you find in Fusion, and we would like to show that appreciation!

In an ongoing effort to increase our transparency as well as our communication with you, we're continuing with our initiative of calling out all the Forum Reported bug fixes that are included in each update. The list below comprises all the issues that have been raised by our engaged community. So, without further ado, here is what we're going to see in the January 2025 update (link to forum thread and the author, in no particular order):

@programming2C78B

Rest Material should now be displayed correctly for this file

@Christoph_360

With “Drag Limit” set to zero, you should no longer have an unneeded second pass

@Christoph_360

Profile Roughing w/Rest Machining should now start at the proper Z plane

@Christoph_360

We can now skip the unneeded “wall pass” for Profile Roughing!

@paul.slaterMZZFE

Angled Entry tools and Rest Machining should produce better results

Similar issue fixed by the same bug report

Another similar issue covered by the same ticket

@HughesTooling

“”                          “”

@PROGRAMMING7K5CY

Just as in prior updates, this isn’t to suggest that those are the only fixes that we've included. The list above are the issues specific to the Manufacture community; within this update our team has additionally found and fixed countless other bugs and issues.

Still haven’t seen your issue on the list and wondering if/when it's going to get fixed? Don't hesitate to "bump" the original thread that you created, and we’ll be happy to chase down the status of your issue!

Thanks for contributing to what makes the software truly great and here’s looking forward to a great 2025!!

CAN WE ADD A "STOP AT TOOL CHANGE" OR "STOP AT EACH OPERATION" BUTTON TO THE SIMULATION. JUST LIKE THE "STOP ON COLLISION" BUT JUST STOP AT EACH OPERATION BEFORE CONTINUING?
