Issue with Model Scaling and Slicing in Fusion 360 for Anycubic Mono X 6K Resin Printer

I have started (or would have loved to start) using Fusion 360 to create support structures for my 3D model prints.
I am using an Anycubic Mono X 6K Resin Printer, and in Fusion 360, I have adjusted the settings for the printer accordingly to 197mm x 122mm x 245mm printing dimensions.

(When I initially select the Anycubic printer profile, I receive a warning that it is an older printer profile and will be converted to the current format).
However, when I export the finished model for printing to a .pwmo file, only about a quarter to half of the model is sliced.

Everything looks normal in Fusion, but when I open the exported file in Chitubox, it becomes apparent that something is going wrong with the scaling.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this issue?
Could it be due to the new printer profile format?

Hmm, I don't have an answer for you. However, I've raised this question with our Additive team, hopefully we can get you some answers.

 

Could you share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

Can you look at the "Slice View" instead of the "Model View", and see if that shows something that's correct?

Hey thanks for the reply

Here you go 🙂

I tried it with multiple models and files, same result.

Keep in mind, im not using the Anycubic Mono X (4K )that is available in the online machine library, i have the 6K Version.
Souldn't there be settings for the display resolution also?

Okay, so here's the deal;

We only support the Anycubic Photon Mono, not the Mono X. While you could modify the machine dimensions in Fusion, results are not guaranteed.

 

The warning message that you received is not related to this issue that you're running into.

 

I took your file and went thru the same steps that I believe you've been thru, but this is my result:

Am I missing something?

 

If you can't get it to work, there is another method of achieving this: build your supports in Fusion, export as .3MF (needs the Additive Extension, even just the trial version), import it back into Fusion in the Design Space, hop over to the "Mesh" tab (in Design) and convert to .STL, and send that .STL to Chitubox

I'll give the second method a shot, if i can export the model with the supports generated by fusion and bring that as a STL or 3MF into Chitubux and slice it there i'll be fine.
Bit sad there are not more printers supported and the resolution also seems to be not as smooth as it is in chitubox.

But hopefully we'll see improvments in the future there.
The Supports generated by fusion are the best i could find so far out there 🙂
