Is there a way to export in process stock as solid body?

I have a bit of a unique (to me at least) situation that has me stumped.  I'm cutting a thread with the thread operation which is working fine- but since all the magic is happening CAM side and it's a custom thread I don't have a version of these threads in the design workspace.

All this to say, I would love to be able to 3d print parts compatible with the thread I've cut.  Has anyone come across this before/is there something simple I'm missing?  If there's some way I can export the in process stock as an STL or OBJ or something so I can feed it into my slicer that would be ideal but I have a feeling it's not going to be that simple.

I appreciate everyones expertise!

Hi

In simulation you can right click and save the stock as a mesh

@a.laasW8M6T is there a way to get it to export in imperial units? My fusion file is set to inches but it exports in metric. When I open it in another program I have to scale it.

Thanks.

My understanding is that an .stl is unitless

How you import it into fusion affect what size it is

If you use the insert mesh command you can pick the units
