Is it possible to use the stock block for a male profile?

I'm machining a component from multiple sides and want to define the stock box and use to perform a 2d contour tool path.

It would depend on the geometry you have to work with. It's typically easier to just toss a sketch on the model (of the size of your stock) and select that

Hmm. That is a shame considering how simple it is to generate a part facing tool path. It was a readily available function in powermill.

Is it now? That's interesting (I have zero PowerMill exposure). Can you share some screenshots or a video showing that workflow? I certainly see the benefits of this improvement, but I'd like to better understand how one goes about it and how it would benefit YOU, the user
