Is someone able to confirm that all CAM tool paths are not transferred when importing a new version? Is there a way this can automatically happen or do you still have to copy paste it over and reset all parameters?

I know and other software it will detect the difference and only that section will need to be updated.

Cheers

If you're using just a single part, then that's true.

To get what you want, you should create a separate model, and then insert the original part (as an X-Ref) into it.

This way, if you update the part model, then the "assembly" will retain any CAM operations.

Ahhh i see.. Up to date i have always been creating tool operations on a part rather than in an assembly.

Thanks for quick response!
