How to Reverse Facing Toolpath Turning

Attached is a screenshot.  I want to face from top to bottom, not from bottom to top.   How do I do that?  I'm using a profile toolpath.

@utekcnc

What kind of tool are you using? Could you attach your sample file here?

Thanks,

As @akash.kamoolkar stated it would help to have an example file, but this should be doable by changing the Direction to Back to Front on the Tool tab under the Mode & Direction section.

Thank you.   Exactly what I was needing.

Hello Guys,

Can you explain please where/how to find "Back to Front on the Tool tab under the Mode & Direction section"?

I have issues with the tool direction during facing operation.

Thank you.

"Back to Front" does not exist in the Facing toolpath, only in Profile Roughing and Finishing as well as Groove Finishing

Ok,

Then how should I solve this issue?

I believe that I did everything correct (videos/tutorials), but no way for me to change the tool direction. Can you advise please?

I don't know what videos you're referring to, can you link them here?

And, to be clear; you want a "face" type path to go inside > out? You can get there with a Profile Finishing toolpath if you desire

Attached you can find my model. During simulation it is obvious that the tool should travel in -Z direction when is cutting.

It is...

Are you saying that it's starting at the face of the part and working its way out?

Yes, in my case the tool is starting the cut at the rotation axis and goes/cut in the radial direction.

In this video, time 4:30 looks different.

Where is your slider in the image below (this is in Simulation). It needs to be right-of-center. If it's left, Sim is running in reverse

Thank you. Solved.

When one pick with the mouse to this "button", it says speed, no direction.

@utekcnc This feature has been added to turning face operations in the latest update that recently went out.
