How to request quotes?

I finished a design and clicked on "Make" and found 4 companies that will quote on my project. The only thing is that 3 of them look for STEP files, but with no apparent way of getting this file into the quote window. There is a button that says "no selection", but it doesn't do anything, like let you select the files. There is one that works, Proto Labs. Am I missing something on the other three?

Thanks, Greg

Hi thanks for posting about this! I note the BriteHub and 100kGarages Add-Ins under the Make menu produce an error when I try to use them. I will escalate this issue to development immediately. I or another Autodesk employee will follow up with an update.

Thanks,

Hey @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting your question here.

To select a component, you must do it in the canvas on the model directly, and when you "submit" from any of the RFQ options, we do the translations automatically for you and send the appropriate data over to the service.

I've created a short video here for you to help show the workflow.

Best,

After reviewing the error with development, I did a clean uninstall and re-isntall of Fusion 360 and the errors have resolved themselves.

Thanks,
