how to make tight inside corners

How do we cut tight inside corners with small bit after cutting with bigger bit? I tried running same tool path with smaller bit but then it tries to cut two tracks including outside one that I don't need. For example, cut contour with 1/4" bit. Then use 1/8" bit. Since 1/8 is half of 1/4, it follows contour on inside track, then follows separate track on outside. See attached pics.
