How do you program from multiple models in the same setup

Hi Everyone,

Can someone explain how I can program from a manufacturing model (which I created to help with some tool paths) and the master (customer) model in the same setup.

In most toolpaths there is a Model override button on the Geometry tab. You can use this to add additional geometry or override the Setup model completely.

You must use different setups for the design model and the manufacturing model. Pick the default model or manufacturing model at the bottom of the setup dialog.
The manufacturing model is a derive of the design model and they are completely different models.  Changes to design model will propagate to the manufacturing model, and in the manufacturing model you can make modifications (that have a history and can be replayed when the design changes).

I should note that I avoid using Manufacturing Model entirely so I'd listen to @MattWynn 😛

Excellent. Thanks!

So how do I make the timeline for the manufacturing model visible?

@Anonymous I see it appear when I make an edit, like add a hole.
