How do you emboss letters or numerals into a part?

I am working producing a part and I would like to emboss numerals and line scale for setting a template for a certain depth of material.

Thanks

@cfrazeur52

You would create your Text/Numbers using the Sketch/Text facility and then using the Extrude function you would either raise them up from the surface or cut them down into the part.
