I have two files with solid body's that are very simular so I created a tooling template with the facing, OD, Boring and part off operations that I used on the first body so I can use that on the next one. Now Im trying to use the teplate on the next setup but I dont know how to get the teplate to populate the opp's.

Right click on your set up tab and go to "create from template", it is under the first block of options when you do that. Then just point it to the folder where you stored your templates, and it will import them in. Then just chose the new geometry and regenerate and then you are set. I use this option quite frequently and it works great, saves a lot of time.

For turning you don't have to do much geometry selection(s). Once the template is instantiated in the new setup (which is presumably properly configured) the model-aware operations could simply need a regeneration.

On the the other hand you could probably create an assembly-type template with a placeholder component and all you have to do for a new part is duplicate the assembly file and insert a new component (part) into it.

I tried that but for some reason I dont have that option to creat from template when I right click on setup. the Youtube video I watched sugested that also and I thought maybe fusion had been updated and changed. I attached a pic you can look at. any idea why i dont have that option ?

I do not see any attachment. Here is what I see when I right click on 'setup".
