Hello!

I am the owner of small design office(sorry for my english by the way). Basically, we design small and sipmle devices and things for small businesses.

I have some responsibility for my clients data. And i have securety rules in Windows UAC and firewall.

Fusion 360 is a great for our purposes, but there is built-in sharing features. Is there a way to turn them off? or block by wirewall? or maybe there is a log file for all sharing operatoins?

Have them sign a non disclosure agreement. Get good employees. There is probably not a whole bunch you can stop if someone wants to steal Intellectual property. Even if you were using Inventor they could just copy that file. There may well be audit trail tools within Fusion but I do not know where they would be, probably on the web interface of the projects.

All my employee sign a non-disclosure agreement. I think I have the best employees. But according to probability theory, with an increase in the number of employees, the probability of stealing of intellectual property increases too. Given the growing number of employers, sooner or later one of the employees of one of the employers will steal intellectual property. I already have had incidents of unauthorized copying of data.

I solved the problem by blocking Fusion360 in a firewall. And unblocking every 7 days at night for 6 hours.  But at the cost of losing online functionality.

It's interesting that in the program created to create intellectual property there is a feature for unauthorized publishing. Information has value as long as it is not known to everyone. Is there any value in the information created in Fusion 360 using online functions? or how much information becomes cheaper due to the threat of unauthorized access? In advertising, it was not indicated in large red letters that you can protect your data, but at the same time you will lose online functionality.

It seems to me that this program is created for people who create the product themselves. They can work in the command, but they don't hire anyone. And they themselves are the owners of their intellectual property.

As far as I know the solution you want is only available in high-end softwares, you can expect to pay more than $30k for that.

The software I need costs less than $2000/user. This is a program that is simply able to work without an Internet connection. Fusion 360 does not work normally in offline mode. There are constant failures in cached data. After trying to operate it offline for a month, I realized that it takes more time to solve problems than to work. As a result, I returned to my old CAD program from another manufacturer. Of course, I will lose significantly in the productivity of workers, but I will be able to protect my property and the property of my clients.

In my humble opinion, I conclude a contract with an employee, I undertake to pay him money, and he will transfer the result of his work to me. At the same time, I must be the exclusive owner of the rights to the result of the employee's work. If the result of the work can be uncontrollably transferred to anyone, then the terms of the employment contract are not met.

Fusion 360 does everything to make data transmission impossible to control. I do not see the possibility of commercial use of the license. It's good that I bought only 1 license.
