Getting a cutter to exit a hole same as the entry

Hello all!

I am working on milling a slot just under the surface of my part but can't seem to get the cutter to exit the from same point as it went in.  This will result in crashing the keyseat cutter into the part.  Any suggestions?

Here is a screencast of what I'm working on.

Thank you everyone!

Use 2D Contour and set the Lead-In/Lead-Out to 135 degrees that will kinda force it to start and end towards the center of the bore.

The feature you are doing would be better served at any rate by a Contour pass and not a Pocket. A "Pocket" toolpath is more geared towards actual pocket machining

Thanks for the reply, Seth!

I ended up getting it done with the "circular" cut.  It has an option to exit the center of the hole.  First time I've ever even tried that option.

Thanks for the circular cutter tip.

I am milling interior O Ring seals with a slot cutter, and this technique works perfectly.
