Fusion 360 crashes after selecting, editing or creating a new tool

Hi everyone!
Like the toptic says the program quits and tells me it's sending a report to the autodesk service when I want to select a Tool for a machining process, edit a tool or create a new one. I've already tried to reinstall it 3 times with delating all folders and paste downloaded tool files in it_ nothing helped. The strange thing is it already worked after the latest update and it worked for about 2 hours after it came again. May anybody help me?
All in all fusion 360 is still one of the best programs I've ever used.
Thank's a lot!

Hi Mr.schoengruber,

It appears this crash is related to your graphics card. Which graphics card are you using?

Also, can you make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

Best Regards,

Noah

Hello Noah!

First of all thank's for your help!

The graphic card is an  "ati mobility radeon hd 5650" and on it's latest update.

I tried the "install previous software update" and see here it worked! But in this mode the graphics look really ugly everything is zoomed in the medium mode- 125% I can't choose the smaller, standard mode.

But all in all it helped me to continue with my projects thank´s a lot! Maybe I can downgrade any graphics in fusion or I just need a new Notebook.

I have similar problem, when selecting new operation and selecting tool, it will freeze and crash. I have re-install Fusion few times, but no help. I have found some work arounds.

Fist one: select operation from templates, and then you can modify tool but Edit Tool.

Second one: right before creating new operation, open Tool Library and close it. Then I can create new operation and select tool without crashing.

Thanks for the workarounds that are working for you. We hope to have a fix for this in the near future..
