Flowing four axis

Hi Guys and girls,

I have not been very active on Fusion the past month or two. Does anyone know when the flowing four axis function will be available?

Kind regards

Wrapped 4th axis is already available! It came out on Nov 9th. However, it's only available inside of Fusion Ultimate. If you are an early adopter, you should have that ability. Also to note; If you are a student, hobbyist, or a small business making less than 100k a year, you are eligible for a license granting you Fusion Ultimate....for free!

If none of those conditions apply, you would need to purchase Fusion Ultimate at $1200 a year.

I do not believe @Anonymous is talking about wrapping, but about multiaxis Flow that is only available in HSMWorks: http://www.hsmworks.com/docs/hsmworks/2013/en/#StrategyFlow

Personally I'm pretty upset that this has been ignored and skipped. This type of toolpath is immensely useful, even in 3-axis surfacing operations. Smiley Frustrated

Here's an example in HSMWorks (again, this isn't even available to Inventor HSM users, and I have not tried making a template and importing but I have a feeling it wouldn't end up well): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BF03FCvJhHk

Also Fusion 360 Ultimate is $1500/year now Smiley Wink

Ahh... that is a beautiful toolpath option. Now you have me annoyed as well. That would fit so nicely in a lot of things I've done

And yeah, I'll just blame the price discrepancy on fat fingers and shoddy memory 😉

I modeled an impeller some time ago that I wanted to cut. So whatyou guys are telling me I would not be able to do it. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the one year free. This has help me alot to learn my 4 axis cnc router. Six month ago I new very little about cnc operating.

I believe I have that model still (or one that is similar).

The new features should allow it to be cut but multiaxis tilting has not worked for me yet. Once they are I believe it should work fairly well actually, even if a bit convoluted with tool orientation. I'll take another look soon.
