finish after adaptive ?

I'm making a fixture and using 3D adaptive to clear out the bulk of the metal.

Last time I cut a fixture similar to this I just used 3D adaptive and it left a pretty ragged surface.

I would like to get a better finish on the floor of this fixture.

I never have been clear on the finishing strategy for flat surfaces...

What strategy would you use to clean up the floor?

2D and 3D Adaptive are both roughing strategies not intended or designed to leave good surface finishes. For almost all applications, you are going to want to use some combination of Pocket or Horizontal for all the bottom surfaces and a 2D Contour for the walls
