Would it be possible to add the possibility that fast forward would be, for example, 2x faster than normal forward? It would be more realistic.

 For example, I would see the tool slow down 2mm above the part and the next movement is normal feed. This is not visible in the current version - the entire simulation is at a constant speed.

Unfortunately, no. Variations of this question have been requested over the years, but there hasn't been the ability for this level of flexibility.
