facing with boring bar

does anyone know a way to face with the boring bar moving from the ID to the OD of part? i can create a separate sketch for the tool path but i want to have fusion recognize the face. when i use "turning face" the software says my tool path is not supported for the tool

Hey jthomas,

Can you share an archive (.f3d) file with us?

i can not for this particular part but its fairly basic design. tubular part with a wall thickness of 1.00". There's a face groove so you have two separate faces to the part and for the bottom face i use an OD turning tool going in the "X-" direction for burr removal. i need to face with a boring bar going in the "X+" direction for the top face

I think you have to fudge it a bit and use an external tool and rotate it 90°. As you can't share the part you're working on how about making a demo part and upload that.
