Hi,

I am fairly new to CAM so sorry for the dumb questions. I start to machine my model by a facing operation to reduce my stock to the right height. However the facing operation (when I look at the simulation leave a side block which I don't understand.Bellow a picture of the end of the simulation for this operation. My model is on the center on all the axis,my stock is sligly bigger on all axis, and the side ( on the left ) is not removed.

You've selected the Stock Contour (orange box) as your part, so it is only facing off the material on top of the part - exactly as you've told it to. Remove this selection from the Geometry tab and you'll get the result you expect.

Thanks a lot for this information.I thought I have to select something because now the simulation doesn't show much the but G-code is alright.I will test this on my machine.
