Hello! These are my first steps with CAM Engraving and unfortunately while doing my first things for family I encountered a known to forums bug, but as I searched forums it is known for many months and by some posts - it is fixed now, but by some others - it still occurs.
I will attach screenshots and a proper file with bug explanation.
The thing is - Fusion is doing very inappropriate toolpaths when using Engrave with Multiple Depths.
As long as "maximum stepdown" is lower value than the depth of engraving that would happen without multiple depths it works fine (screenshot "1mm"), but when you increase that stepdown further to a number that is deeper than the maximum depth of a cut that would occur without multiple depth the toolpath starts to do some strange things at this place, don't cut anything or just scrub and destroy material (screenshot "2mm").
For me it is some kind of awesome easy to fix bug, the program just need to check the maximum depth of cut without multiple depths and if the multiple depth value is bigger than normal max depth then just take by default the normal max depth for that toolpath. It isn't doing that right now.
I also attach the file that gives me problems, but it's easy to replicate on any engraving toolpaths sticking to the rule of depth as I mentioned before.
This option in it's current state is not usable by any chance.
I will also try and tag some specialists that I found in other posts - @seth.madore @Anonymous
