Drill Mills in fusion

Are drill mill supported in fusion? I tried modeling it as a spot drill but that wont generate a milling a path. Is there any other way to get around this or is there just not a feature?

You can define it as a chamfer tool, you will just need to add in the
radius to the "Stock to Leave" field.

Or at least, that's what memory is telling me, not at a computer right now

Well ...  Maybe i didn't explain myself right. I am thinking I can run operations in a piece of 1/8" or 3/16" aluminium of drilling, milling, and chamfering all with one tool. Could this all be done by calling it a chamfer tool?

Yes. If you define the tool as a chamfer mill, the compensation point is coming from the tip of the tool. All your 2D Contour work would need to have the radius added into it for it to calculate correct. Drilling will work just fine, as will chamfering/deburring.

The other option is Form tool, but you really can't do a deburr pass without fudging around with the numbers. It does not allow for the 2D Chamfer toolpath, or the 2D Contour with chamfer turned on.

What's the current best practice for using a drill mill? (the same tool to spot drill mill and chamfer)

I'm holing I don't have to set up three of the same tool numbers.

Im not sure if I understand 100% what you want, but I try it with a Form tool. Not a perfect solution but it work.
