Doosan 3/5-axis cancel length compensation and retract

I'm using TCP (G43.4) and the control throws error "Illegal g-code..." at the retract line.  Seems Fanuc does not allow G28 (or G53, G30, and a few others) while TCP is active.

N6305 M05
N6310 G28 G91 Z0.
N6315 G90
N6320 G49
N6325 G5.1 Q0

I've tried the Doosan 3/5-axis post and the generic Fanuc post. Both are formatted the same. I need some help moving the G49 length cancel so it is before the retract command in all operations. Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently editing programs at the control, one operation at a time.

Hi

Try this one

I moved the retract after G49 but it throws an error saying

"Cannot cancel length compensation if the machine is not fully retracted."

I think this is normally because on some machines cancelling length comp will cause the tool to move in Z by the compensation amount. If you have been successfully doing this manually with no issues then its probably OK for your machine.

In this post I have disabled that error so it looks like this at the end

M09
G49
G30 G91 Z0.
G90
G00 A0. C0.
G30 G91 X0. Y0.
G90
M30

Check carefully that it does what you want.
