Does 360 have Laser Nesting HyperGear 2-D Laser Table Mazak Mazatrol controls an maybe a post?

My company has a 2-d HyperGear 2-d laser table now.

It is an older machine in great condition. (2006)

 

What I need to know is does Fusion 360 have nesting abilities built in the software.

I know there is software out there like SigmaNest but I am hoping I can do it all in Fusion 360.

I think the laser table postes different than fanuc so want to know how hard it is to make a post for it?

I have used visual code editor and done a little post work but not a lot.

Still learning and figuring out the table at this point.

Yes, John we do have nesting in Fusion 360.

 

The Nesting and Fabrication extension includes high volume nesting and advanced controls for the arrange feature.  The nesting works with sheet metal, 3D components, and sketches.  See https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/nesting-fabrication-extension .  Nesting can pull in models from different documents so that you can create nests for each day's production.

There is a addin for batch importing of DXF files into individual components perfect for nesting and arrange, https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/blog/how-to-import-dxf-files-to-fusion-360/

The 2D profile operation on CAM will generate toolpath for lasers, plasma, oxy, and waterjet.

If using fusion to generate toolpaths for a laser cutter, is there anyway to save remnant plate to a database aside from saving it as a mesh? That works well enough for saving your stock from one setup to use in a second for milling, but using it to maintain a database of plate sounds rather inconvenient.

@fusion360EG647 I don't believe this is possible at present, although there have been discussions for "remnant" management making it's way into the Nesting Extension at some point in the future
