directly opening the geometry panel

in the tree, when hovering over the selection of contours (machining boundary selection), it would be good to open the 2nd panel in the operation - selection of geometry.

All 5 items in the menu open in 1 panel, which is counterproductive - one has to click on the secondary fit (yes, it only takes a moment, but if I click on the contour selection, I will want to edit the geometry, and not for example cutting conditions).

And it would be possible to set the direct opening of other tabs in the operation - for example, as seen in the 3rd picture.

This does sound like a reasonable expectation. However, at this point in time, I can say with relative certainty that there is slim to no chance of this function seeing any work in the foreseeable future, as we have many higher priority issues on our current schedule.

OK thank you for answer. I understand that it is not a priority, but it would be good v some horizon over the impementgation of this function to think. It would be more logical and work faster for users.

Another option would be to put the geometry selection for example under the edit tool as shown in the picture.

As I said, this is a good suggestion, so I went and opened CAM-51458 to investigate this issue. Again, no timeline on when this could possibly get worked on, but as we mature the product, I think we'll find more areas where direct connection to the relevant tab of the toolpath would be desired.
