DATRON Neo postprocessor is buggy?

I am using the DATRON neo 4-axis machine, in this operation, the simulation goes right. The mill is centered along x and the rotary axis turns.

On the machine, however, the mill plunges into the part :

$$$ SEQUENCE_RotaryPocket5__1
Spindle On
PrePositioning X=0.9 Y=24.24075 Z=35.24651
Rapid A=0
Rapid Z=34.4 A=0
Feed=Plunge
Line Z=25.24651 A=0
Feed=Ramping
Line Y=0 Z=24.4
Feed=Cutting
Line Y=-4.23702 Z=24.02931 A=10
Line Y=-8.34529 Z=22.9285 A=20
Line Y=-12.2 Z=21.13102 A=30
Line Y=-15.68402 Z=18.69148 A=40
Line Y=-18.69148 Z=15.68402 A=50

Line Y=-24.02931 Z=4.23702 A=80
Line Y=-24.4 Z=0 A=90
Line Y=-24.02931 Z=-4.23702 A=100

Line Y=-21.13102 Z=-12.2 A=120

I don't understand if this is a bug or not.

If I manually enable this option :

Then the NC program cannot be generated any more :

based off your setup I'd say the rotary is along X-

It's also much better for your tool if you did deeper cuts with a smaller stepover....A part like this could probably be surfaced directly to size in wood!

@makelabASMPS

You are getting this error because you can only select either a machine in the CAM setup or use the properties to define your kinematics. You will need to either deselect the Machine Configuration or change the configuration in the Post properties.

If the generic posts are not providing the required output, I offer post processor development services and happy to work out a solution for your machine! Message me if I can be of further assistance.

If my post answers your question, please use Accept as Solution.

Hello @makelabASMPS

The machine definition has the TCP option enabled by default, do you know if your Datron has the RTCP feature enabled and setup correctly for your machine?

If not, then the output will not work on your machine.
You can easily turn off the TCP option in your machine definition as shown in the screenshot below:

Please let me know if that helps. Thanks

Hey.

Try to see this file. I created a 4 axis instrument track and it should definitely work well. To generate toolpaths you can't have a machine simulation.

You have to have RTCP enabled otherwise the toolpaths will not be accurate and you have to aim the stock.

I'm also posting a couple of youtube links I drew from. Anyway my knowledge of DATRON is from my work. So if anything feel free to ask.
