I was wondering if anyone could help me understand why the error 'no name assigned to swivel data record' appears on the controller when running a multi axis program on a MAKA machine using an siemens 840d post , the machine has x,z,c,a on the spindle and y on the table . The error appears on the line highlighted .

HI @CreativeComposites123

Each swivel data record has a name and is assigned in 'Swivel data' page.

You can look the same and correct the NC code.

@Arun.rs I went down and checked the machine, once I clicked on swivel data, I was given the following errors and no kinematics or name, do you know why this may have happened, from some research it always tends to be TC1 that is the name of the swivel data record.

HI @CreativeComposites123

I am not sure why the Swivel data record is not configured properly on the controller. You can have a word with machine builder/controller guys for the same and fixed.
