Hello, I would be very grateful if you could help me. I haven't had much luck programming a sawblade. I would like to tilt it to 90 degrees and then follow the line. I hope my screenshots are of use to you. Thanks in advance. Stay safe.

You need to turn on and use Tool orientation, selecting the surface that reflects the Z axis, in relationship to the surface you want to machine.

What is your machine, and do you have a post processor that correctly produces the code needed for the machine?

Thank you Seth for replying so quickly. No, unfortunately I do not have post-processor. Infact, I do not have the machine yet. I just finished highschool and got a job and due to some circumstances I got asked if I could use new machine my CEO is planning to buy ( I don't want to bore you with all the details )

Machine is Bacci Twin Jet 12 axis and I think it uses Osai contoller.

I planned to practice a bit of CAM before the machine arrives, before I'm cast into the fire :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Again, thank you for replying so fast, I really appreciate it.

All the best,

Miodrag

P.s.  I very much enjoyed your shop tour on NYCCNC. Good luck in future endeavours.
