cutting notches for finger joints on CNC router

Apologies for a Noob question.  I have a simple sketch to cut 1 inch fingers in 3/8 inch ply wood.  I extruded the sketch to the plywood thickness of 9mm (approx 3/8") and then went to manufacturing.  I have try 2D Adaptive, 2D Pocket and 3D Adaptive and Pocket.  I have avoided using Contour as I wish to use this setup for cutting fingers in various lengths of ply wood (all of the same width).  I keep coming up with "No toolpaths" or it wants to cut completely around my model.  Any help and advise will be appreciated.  f3d file attached.

If you cut these with the panel lying horizontal, I would use a 2D Contour using a separate sketch.  With this orientation, if will not clean out the corners.  Please check your feeds, speeds, etc. as I did not glance at these settings.  Model attached.

Thank you Seth.  This is exactly what I am trying to achieve.  I will give it a go when I get back from my Dr's appointment!
