Cut through issue when using tabs

Cut through issue when using tabs

When cutting out parts on our Thermwood 43 CNC router, I have noticed an issue with using tabs. Typically, when toolpathing a model, I will do an outline cut, leaving a 1/16" skin so all parts remain fixtured. After the initial outline, I then clean up any tight radius parts with a smaller tool, then come back and do my final cut. The final cut is all done with one toolpath, using tabs only on small parts. I specify a cut through of -.004, and have consistently noticed that on the small parts that i place tabs on, there is no cut through. It will bump up for the tab, but still leaves a fair amount of skin, maybe 1/32" or so. The rest of the model cuts through with very light grooving of the spoil board. This appears to be a bug in CAM. I have attached the CNC file below.

You need to add the fusion files To do this Go to File -> Export and save as a .F3D Archive File and attach it to your next post

Yes, I should have mentioned that. Wasteboard was flycut, totally flat. I can nest and cut with Thermwood's software with no issues. I can nest and cut with Fusion CAM specifying a -.004 cut through ( That's the same cut through we use with Thermwood's Control Nesting), also with no issues, until adding tabs. If I toolpath separately, ie. create a 2D contour with tabs, specify -.004 cut through, and create and additional 2D Contour with the same cut through for the remaining pieces that do not require tabs, I also have no issue. The problem seems to arise when trying to create only one toolpath, part of it with tabs, part without.
