Hello,
I have a project I am working on where I am wanting to export my tool path from F360 to be used to mill out on a Gerber Saber 408. I am almost finished creating my processes and almost ready to export the job. The job has 2D and 3D processes. What do I need to do to run the tool path on my Gerber Saber 408? I am only familiar with using Gerber Composer and ArtPath.
Thanks!
Hi
Thanks for posting. We have a manufacture forum where we have good resources of Cam and Cnc. @seth.madore will help you by taking the post to that forum while he'll be available.
God bless.
You will need to use a Post Processor to export the g-code for your machine. Do you have any sample files you can share that will give us an idea of what your machine uses for format? It's quite likely there is a stock post that will suit, or require just a bit of modification*
*There are some formats that are so far out in left field it's not even funny. Individual results may vary. Talk to your post process doctor if "generic post" is right for you
I contacted the OP in this post here.
@Bradshawa has a host of information and is willing to share. I had difficulty reaching him via email however I was able to reach him through the forum and he responded to my email last week. He is a great resource in a field of limited information. Good luck and please share your results.
*Credit to Adam for helping us get it going (wouldn't have been possible without his help / the Fusion settings)

I use this spooler for the .ger file (it originally came with ArtCam which is discontinued / made by DelCam but this works great)
settings for artspool baud rate:
also make sure you do these settings (Gerber has some weird intricacies when using with Fusion / if you don't use these settings it will act weird)
