Correct path for ball end mill

Hi all,

I'm trying to find the best way to achieve inside fillet with a ball-end mill.

The only way I found until now it to make a design without any fillet and do a 2D contour on bottom.

With fillet on the model I can't find a proper way to do it.

Selecting bottom or top of the fillet doesn't give me the wanted result (screen-shot here under)

Fillet radius is equal to the ball-mill radius

Thanks 🙂

Hi @vincentVBT4F

A possible option would be to use the Pencil strategy found in the 3d toolpaths.

If the model has a 1/8" fillet and you use a 1/4" ball, the tool should blend into that radius like you are looking for.

Thanks a lot !

Pencil with touch surface is working just perfectly 🙂
