Convex Dovetail Milling - Is it possible?

Hey guys!
Is it physically possible to mill this shape with a typical dovetail mill?
If not, any suggestions how you would manufacture it?

Thanks!

Not with a physical dovetail tool, you'd be gouging the radial face. Turning it would get you much closer, but you'd also have to either create some elaborate fixture to hold it or treat it as a cylinder and then bandsaw the pieces you need.

What material and what surface finish required? It could quite obviously be 3D printed in many materials,

Unfortunately not, the surface finish needs to be of very high quality, it being a guide. It must allow motion, with as little play as possible. So turning it will be.
