cannot get the Heidenhain postprocessor work on my head/head 5 axis

Hello, I would need some help to set up the postprocessor for my machine.

I am a guitar maker from France and I just finished adding a bi-rotary head on a gantry cnc running on Heidenhain ITNC530.

I did not get the kinematics to work on the the control so I cannot use the RTCP from the machine.

I did the machine configuration and I hope it is right but I cannot get the post to run, I get an error.

I need to have fusion and the post to do the kinematics and the tool length compensation.

Thank you very much.

With the itnc530  you should have no problems getting the kinematics working, it is vastly superior to trying to get it working in Fusion

What is the problem getting it working on the controller?

You should be be looking at Parameters MP7500, MP7510, MP7520 and MP7530

MP7350 should contain the offsets for the transformation chain.

If you search online for itnc530 technical manual, there is a section that describes how to configure a nutating(45°) head or a fork type head.

Hello,

thank you very much for your reply.

we did a lot to try to make it work folowing the instruction. The head is 50° and I think we had all the parameters right but we get errors (impossible to calculate angle) and we cannot use spacial plane.

I will try again and come back to you with more details.

All the best.

Hugo.
