I have a cavity that I need to machine in 2 separate setups (G54 top and G55 side).  How do I prevent the tool path from entering the side area in the top op and vice versa?  I have tried patch with no success.

It would be extremely helpful to see the file in question, even just a picture of it (actual file is much preferred)

File > Export > Save to local folder. Return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

Just set you bottom height on the heights tabs to [Selection] and pick a curve for how far you want it to go down.

The problem I see with that solution is that I will still be machining into the G55 op .4" do to the different heights / angles of the two op two areas.  Is there a way to patch these?
