I've been using HSMXpress with Solidworks for years, and have recently started using Fusion CAM as well. While the two are obviously closely related, I find some striking differences, some not for the better. In particular, I REALLY miss the ability to create an arbitrary number of named coordinate systems in HSMXpress/Solidworks. It appears that in Fusion as close as we get is being able to create an arbitrary number of individual axes, which is, in comparison, a rather cumbersome process.
Another thing I REALLY miss is the ability to create the Stock by extruding a sketch. I find both of these features to be both save a lot of time, and provide much better design documentation, as clearly named coordinate systems and stock profiles make it crystal clear what the design intent is.
Any chance these features will eventually be added?
