Could anybody help figure out why I can't put a 2d adaptive tool path round this part

What is the warning that is coming up? There can be a lot of reasons. Your tool can be too thick, the tool can be too short, you may have selected the wrong path, etc.

Try running the simulation with the stock being shown.
