Bore - Multiple Passes Retract to Clearance Plane?

Anyone else notice multiple passes on the Bore toolpath retract to the Clearance Plane? I would have thought it would retract to the Retract Plane. 

Current settings are: Multiple Passes (2) with a small stepover; no Finishing Passes or Repeat Passes

That is interesting, I'm seeing the same thing. I, too, would have expected it to go to Retract Height. In some testing, though, it looks like it's only doing it on the first hole when you have multiple bores selected:

 

 The first hole (on the left) will return to Clearance Height between passes, but the middle and right bores return to Retract, with the right bore returning to Clearance at completion of cycle. I'll see if a ticket it logged for this behavior and log one if not.

Yep, a ticket is already open for this issue, CAM-30332.

Would this be the case with an ID grooving tool retracting to far and crashing into the back side of the bore? Please see attached file.

No, 2D Bore and Turning toolpaths are completely separate animals
