Seems with this update you can only use Blend and Flow with a 5 axis machine configuration. See attached file.

You don't have a machine configuration selected. Select a 3 axis machine and it fails, thought I'd selected a machine in the file I uploaded.

Not disputing that, but it works if you don't select machine configuration.

To me, in Fusion, anything is a fair game if it works.

Is there a need to fix few things,.... yes, but until then ........ I use whatever works.

Hi @HughesTooling

I'll take a look at this or you. Have you found a machine configuration for which those toolpaths work for you?

Thanks,
Paolo

In this job I need to post to at least 6 different machines so setting a machine saves loads of time, especially when you end up posting to the wrong location or with the wrong post. This worked fine last week so the last update broke it. I already know it works without a machine configuration, just wanted to report the bug.

So, I have a general question regarding machine configuration. In everything I have done so far, I never use machine configuration in setup. When it was introduced, I understood that it is foundation for more complex tasks to come and few times I tried to use it, it turned out to be an obstacle for one reason or another.

At current point in time, what is the benefit of using machine configuration if what I need done works without it ?

And I wasn't playing smart a**, my domain is in lathe and mill-turn so I expend that into more then I need to get by, sometimes just fishing for answers or challenging myself.
