Another Turning Question--File Attached

I'm trying to get the hang of turning in Fusion.  Quite different from Gibbscam it is.    I have attached a file.

1.  Tooling--Is there anyway I can enter in my Sandvik tool number and have the right tool?

2.  My partoff tool......It has a 5 degree relief on it.   Where can I enter this?  I can't seem to see that when I create the tool

3.  I normally program the partoff in Gibbs like this:  I do a groove peck just deeper than the chamfer.   Then I profile along the chamfer and down the back of the part to part it off.   What is the most efficient way in Fusion to cut the chamfer on the back OD of the part.

4.  What parameter or setting do I need to change for the boring bar return point to be higher in X.  I can change it in the Gcode, but would like to get it right here.

Thanks!!

Good Morning,

I figured out how to adjust my boring bar return point.   I do that in the Radii tab when editing the operation or process.   I still am fighting the following:

1.  boring bar tool size--not sure I'm defining it correctly.   I'm using a 3/8 bar with a TCMT insert.

2.  How to cut the back chamfer with my grooving part off tool.

3.  How and where to define my 5 degree relief angle on the grooving partoff insert.

Thanks again.

In working with this some more I figured out how to do the chamfer on the partoff.   I have to do it different than Gibbs and it's not as nice, but it works.   I still would like some input on:

2.  How and where to define my 5 degree relief angle on the grooving partoff insert.  Is this possible

@utekcnc Thanks for posting your questions to the forum and apologies that there's been a delayed response.

Regarding question 1.

To define the tool holder dimensions, you can edit the Holder in the Tool Library. When you edit an operation or select a tool for a new operation, you can click on that tool and select it, then right click and edit the details of the tool.

In your file, it looks like you have that shank with set properly to .375" for the 3/8" bar diameter. You can also edit your insert here. Under Holder Style, you can change the degrees in this boring operation.

Regarding Question 2.

You can change the Relief angle of the general turning tools, as seen in this image:

I hope that this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks for being a valued member of the community!

Thank you Matthew-R, but is there a way to have a relief angle on a grooving part off tool.   All of our part off tools have a 5 degree relief on them and I don't see any way to define this tool.
